About Sidmouth Folk Festival

Sidmouth Folk Festival is one of the biggest and oldest folk gatherings in the world, filling the elegant Regency seaside town for a full week every summer. Concerts, ceilidhs, workshops, dance displays and sessions spill out across venues and the seafront, with performers and festival-goers travelling from around the globe.

From ticketed headline concerts to free music on the Esplanade, there is a huge amount going on, and the whole town gets involved. It is a joyous, inclusive celebration of folk tradition and one of the defining events of the Devon summer.
