Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta
About Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta
The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta is one of the oldest and grandest events on the Devon coast, combining serious sailing and rowing competition with days of waterfront celebration. The River Dart and the town's historic embankment come alive with races, crowds and colour, while the hills around the estuary make a spectacular natural grandstand.
Beyond the racing there is a huge programme of free entertainment, from air displays and military bands to a funfair, market stalls, live music and nightly fireworks over the water. It is a proud community tradition that draws visitors from far and wide to this beautiful part of the South Hams.
